At DAO Invest HK Limited, we strive to ensure complete satisfaction with our services and products. This Refund & Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and returns for both our technology services and physical products, including heat shrinking cables.

2. Technology Services

Service-Based Projects

For custom software development, consulting, and other service-based projects:

  • Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis
  • Requests must be made within 14 days of project commencement
  • Work completed up to the refund request date is billable
  • Deposits and initial payments may be non-refundable if work has begun
  • Refund eligibility depends on project milestones and deliverables

Subscription Services

  • Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time
  • No refunds for partial months already paid
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Annual subscriptions may be eligible for prorated refunds within 30 days

3. Physical Products (Heat Shrinking Cables)

Return Conditions

Physical products may be returned within 30 days of delivery if:

  • Products are unused and in original packaging
  • All tags, labels, and documentation are intact
  • Products are not damaged or modified
  • Return is accompanied by original invoice or receipt

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-cut or specially manufactured products
  • Products showing signs of use or installation
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Products without original packaging

4. Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a defective or damaged product:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide photographic evidence of the defect or damage
  • We will arrange for replacement or full refund
  • Return shipping costs will be covered by us
  • Warranty claims handled according to manufacturer terms

5. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  3. Await return authorization and instructions
  4. Package items securely with all original materials
  5. Ship to the address provided (customer pays return shipping unless product is defective)
  6. Refund processed within 10 business days of receiving returned items

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method:

  • Credit card refunds: 5-10 business days
  • Bank transfers: 7-14 business days
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days
  • Store credit option available for faster processing

7. Shipping Costs

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for standard returns. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

8. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for physical products of equal or greater value. Size, color, or specification changes are subject to availability. Additional charges may apply for upgraded items. Contact us to arrange an exchange.

9. International Orders

International returns are accepted under the same conditions as domestic returns. However, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, import duties, and customs fees. Refunds will reflect the original product cost only, excluding international shipping charges.
